Then He commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and two fish, and LOOKING UP to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes. Matthew 14:19 NKJV Capitals mine
Looking down He saw
Five loaves and two fish
Looking around He saw
5,000 hungry men
Looking up He saw
Jehovah Jireh
Looking down He saw
His loved one in a tomb
Looking around He saw
A disbelieving crowd
Looking up He saw
Zoe*
Looking down I see
An empty bank account
Looking around I see
Bills yet to be paid
Looking up I see
The great Provider
Looking down I see
A heart that has been broken
Looking around I see
others just like me
Looking up I see
the One who will make me whole again
Zoe: Greek for life but used in scripture to denote the God kind of life (abundant) encapsulated in man!
As believers we rejoice, not because the fire is not real, but because we know we serve a God who has promised to be with us THROUGH IT ALL. Be comforted this week, knowing that God sees and all you are going through is for a season and you will come through SHINING with the VICTORY.
It is indeed well. 2008 continues to remain our year of UNCOMMON TESTIMONIES.
Rinrin...thank you so much. I'm getting back on track!

Boaz is coming!
And Naomi had a kinsman of her husband's, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech; and his name was Boaz. And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me go now to the field and glean ears of corn after him in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go my daughter. And she went and came and gleaned in the field after the reapers: and her hap was to light (as it turned out) on a part of the field belonging unto Boaz who was of the kindred of Elimelech. And, behold, Boaz CAME...Ruth 2:1-4a (KJV) Brackets (NIV)..Capitals mine
This one is for the single sisters'. Do I hear a halleluyah? For the sassy, single and satisfised sisters' who are still trusting God for a mate. During worship this morning, I felt I heard the Lord say "Believer, be encouraged and encourage your sisters that Boaz is coming". I began to laugh until I saw verse 3 of the 2nd chapter of Ruth in the King James Version...that Boaz came.
I recalled a recent conversation I had with a friend of mine and she said that God will not give you a man that you have to manage because every good and perfect gift comes from above. Not that the man will be perfect but he will be a good gift. An analogy that comes to mind is when you are desperately searching for an item at the supermarket right before closing, you get to the shelf and realise that there's only one left. It looks a little damaged but the shop staff are giving you the evil eye and you really, really want it so you say "Well, I can just manage this, if I chop off a bit here or there I guess it can really work".
This might be an ok mentality for grocery or even clothes shopping but I don't think it is God's plan for us concerning a future partner. I asked God, "why did you say Boaz is coming? Why not another name in the Bible?" He said "Go back and read that book again, the characteristics of the man for you are found in Boaz"
A son in the house (from the clan of Elimelech)Ruth 2:1
A strong man Ruth 2:9
A generous man Ruth 2:14
An understanding man Ruth 2:15
A man of integrity Ruth 3:18
A self-less man Ruth 4:10
So if you are waiting on the Lord, wait like Ruth. Don't allow depression to set in. Wait like Ruth. Don't sit at home and reminisce on how the good 'ole days were in Moab and don't even consider going back to the world. Go into the fields and glean. To glean was not a choice occupation, basically you were gathering left overs. I'm sure when people passed and saw those that gleaned they shook their heads in pity. I'm sure some may have said a few unkind comments. Just the way they do today. "Haba, don't you want to get married, you're not getting any younger o!" or "You're too choosy, all men are the same, just marry one and be done with it"! My encouragement to all this pertains to is to rejoice because Boaz is coming! My question to you is... Where will he find you? At home, depressed, unfulfilled and angry at God, or gleaning in the field. To glean in the field is to stay in your assignment, to stay in that purpose that the Lord has for you, to serve Him with all that you have.
Do me a favour this week, praise God, worship Him, praise Him just as if the answer to your prayers was right in front of you.
Rejoice and again I say rejoice because BOAZ IS COMING!

It's ok
For B and O
Maybe we can talk it over
And save our hopes and dreams
Though the waves seem endless
Somehow we'll cross this angry sea
With love all things are possible
If we just believe
I need to know, yes it's ok
Can i hurdle this storm, yes but only together
With love in our hearts, the only way
Somehow, things will work out just you wait and see
Oh it will, believe it will
See real life confrontations
Caused our vows to break
But i learned the word forgiveness
Can time chase the pain away
True love made our hearts inseparable
If we just believe
I need to know, yes it's okay
Can i hurdle this storm, yes but only together
With God in our hearts, the only way
Somehow, things will work out just you
Wait and see
But right now it hurts so bad
And feels so bad
But tomorrow waits with laughter
If we endure the tears then joy comes after
I need to know, you need to know,
It's gonna be okay
Can i hurdle this storm, only together
With love in our hearts, the only way
And somehow, somehow i can feel love again
Somehow, things have worked out
'cause you stayed with me
I'm glad to know it's okay, it's okay

Yo mama, it's your birthday
A strong woman
that's who you are
you have been through the fire
and the flood
and yet you have remained standing
steadfast
trusting in the Lord
for His promises never fail
A beautiful woman
that's who you are
People see you and ask
"Is that your sister?"
I frown, you smile
and we both say no
you never forget to remind them
that I'm not even your first
A funny woman
that's who you are
we always sing
"man worry, man die
man no worry, man die
so why worry"
as we burst out laughing
even when the news is not so good
An intuitive woman
that's who you are
you understand
my smile
my frown
my silence
you see beyond the words from my lips
to my heart
So today, mamaG I celebrate you. June 22nd 1958..the Lord sent one of his special ones to earth. I thank Him for preserving you, for giving you the strength to stand through all that life has thrown at you. I thank Him because I know you haven't seen anything yet. He said there shall be more glory in your latter days. He will surely take you to the place that He has shown you in Jesus name. You are blessed.
So yummy grammy, keep on rocking!
