iPray: Day 3

Share
A prayer for careers offered by Rita

My Sweet Loving Father, I just want to glorify you today. I exalt and praise your Holy name. My Ancient of Days, my Eternal Rock of Ages, my Redeemer, my Fortress, my Jehovah everything, blessed be your Holy name. My Lord and my God, Faithful and Gracious Father, I bring to your throne of grace the subject of careers. Lord I know that even before we call, You will answer this prayer.

I pray that each and everyone who reads/prays this prayer that he/she shall have the career you desire for him/her.

Prayer for those seeking for jobs:

I bring before you those that are seeking for jobs. Lord your word says that you grant us the desires of our heart. I pray, sweet father, that for every job seeker who humbles himself/herself and prays to you, that you oh Lord, will answer their prayer. Lord, you are the one who opens doors no one can shut. Lord open doors of opportunity for them. Father, reserve for your children the very best. Lord, you are the one that teaches us to profit. I pray you prepare and equip them for the jobs you have for them that they may enjoy a wonderful career and enter into rest when it comes to work.

Give them wisdom, direction and utterances when they go for job interviews. Surround them with favour as a shield. May patience manifest in them even as they wait to be called for the next level. Lord, for every process they start, they shall come to a successful finish. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

Sword of the Spirit:- [Psalms 37:4, Revelations 3:8, Isaiah 48:17, James 1:5, Psalms 5:12]

Prayer for those currently working (whether self-employed or working for someone else)

Lord I bring before you those who are currently employed. Father, every good and perfect gift comes from you. I pray that each day, they will see their work as a blessing from you, and thus give you all the praise that’s due your name. Sweet Father, watch their going out and their coming in. Give them wisdom, direction and utterances as they go about their duty. Surround them with favour as a shield. Lord, they shall not have delayed promotions/increase. Teach them, oh Lord, what they need to do to stand out and excel for Lord you are excellent and your children should be like you. May they go from glory to glory. Let their light shine in their workplace to bring glory to You. Make them to be reference points for things that concern you, ideas and solutions. Help them see areas for improvement. Awesome Father, if they are not currently where you want them to be, I pray that you reveal this to them and they will respond to live in the fullness of the career you want for them. May they be like a tree planted by streams of your living water, which brings forth fruit in due season. May they never wither under pressure but grow strong and prosper. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

Sword of the Spirit: - [James 1:17, Psalms 121:8, Psalms 5:12, James 1:5, Matthew 5:16, Psalms 1:3]

Prayer for those who have lost their jobs:

Sweet Gracious Father, I bring before you those who lost their jobs. Lord I know that whatever seems bad, you can turn around for good. Lord I pray that they will be adequately comforted by your spirit this temporary period. I pray that they do not lose hope or faith but they continue to trust you. I also pray that Lord you will open doors of opportunity for them and open their eyes to see the good you have for them despite their circumstance. Lord, I know that some will worry about what tomorrow may bring. Lord I remind them of your word that says “do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on…” Give them their daily bread, oh Jehovah Jireh. Take them to a place of full restoration. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

Sword of the Spirit: - [Matthew 6:25, Joel 2:25, Revelations 3:8, Ephesians 1:18]

Concluding prayer for all categories

I pray that before the end of the year, your children shall come forth with testimonies regarding their careers. I rebuke every spirit of laziness, workaholism and self-condemnation. I pray that your children will have a balanced, healthy life. Strengthen them each day. Bring them to the fullness of the destiny you have for them. Bless the works of their hands. May all their endeavours bring forth favour, success, prosperity and great fulfillment. Help them to realize that they work for you and they need to please you first above any other person or thing. I declare, Father, that you are Lord over their work and all they do. You who began a good work will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

Sword of the Spirit:- [Isaiah 65:24, Psalm 90:17, Exodus 20:5, Psalm 75: 6-7, James 4:10, Philippians 1:6].

Oh that I may be that stream of Living Waters that bears much fruit. That does not wither or die under pressure. You know my heart Lord. My position is stressful. Give me your Peace and Rest if this is what I'm supposed to be doing right now. Otherwise, show me your will that I might be at the right place doing the right thing at the right time.

Bless all of those out of work , Lord. I've been jobless and homeless more times than I care to remember. But You were always there right by my side. You taught me to trust you in those times. You gave me provision and good friends to care and lift me up.

Send them your Peace and your provision. Meet them in their needs. Surprise them with yourJoy -and strengthen them with your right arm. Not only can you open doors but you can open hands. Surprise them Lord - that you might be glorified.

We give you praise for all you are and we come before you expectantly - with open hearts....in Jesus Name Amen

i really needed to say this prayer today, especially cause its been one of those days when the work place just sucks big time and pressures arise on every side....

Thank You father for reminding me that even in the midst of it all, i am blessed and every experience serves to build me and to bring out the winner and problem solver that i am.

Thank you for my friend that just started at a new job this monday, and those yet to get a job, help them hold on to You and watch as You perform Your word in their lives.

For those that lost their job...let their story be that the best season of their lives started after that situation because they refused to be beaten down by circumstances, but rather chose to look up to You constantly
