The God that I serve...

Share
Hmm,

What can I say about Him that you don't already know, nothing and yet......EVERYTHING. The more I seek to know Him, the more I realise that there is still so much yet to discover. This is a short one just to encourage you that the God that we serve is a LIVING God who SEES everything and who LOVES UNCONDITIONALLY regardless, He is a MERCIFUL God who says I FORGIVE YOU and truly means it. The God that I serve is a good God. A very good One. He might not say anything but He is truly keeping watch over His children. So hold on, the storm will pass but you will remain standing as long as you are holding on to Him as tight as you can. I don't know who this is for but it's definitely for me. God bless you.

In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted 2nd Timothy 3:12

Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus 2nd Timothy 2:3

A prayer for strength

Lord God, indeed you are very great. Your name is Jehovah the I AM GOD, your name is ELOHIM; the One who creates from nothing, the one who can speak to the darkness and create light. The One who can speak to the grave and it must obey and release dead dreams, dead visions and dead hope. The One who does exceedingly and abundantly above all that I can ever think or imagine. Today I am grateful to you for the education that you have blessed me with. I know sometimes I moan about this and that but Father through the pressure has revealed to me so much about myself and so much about you as well. Father, thank you for this year, for showing me the difference between toiling and manifesting. Thank you for teaching me how to do what I should do and giving me favour in the presence of my instructors. Thank you for the privilege of being where I am at this time and I thank you that I shall come to the end of this phase with success all glory coming to your name. Thank you Father, I am expectant.

Today O Lord, I come to ask for strength. As 2008 draws to an end and I stand at the threshold of a new year and a new season in you I am aware of the work that lies ahead and Lord I'm a tad bit overwhelmed. I remember the words of David, he said that when his heart was overwhelmed he would go to the rock that was higher than him. I wonder if he wrote that when he thought about facing Goliath or maybe before going into one of the many battles that he fought. Like Him, I have come to the rock that is higher than I. O Lord, your strength is immeasurable, who can fathom it. Your word says that you are the one who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. Let this be my testimony in 2009 in Jesus name. You enable me to stand on the heights, you train my hands for battle and your right hand sustains me. Your word also says that you will keep me strong to the end so that I will be blameless on the day of my Lord Jesus Christ.

Father, enable me to work in and with your strength. in 2009, I know that there will be obstacles, there will be challenges, there will be battles, there will be mountains to climb and rivers to cross. I look at myself and know that of my own I can do nothing. With you I can do all things. Let your strength keep and guide me to the end. Thank you for supernatural strength to do the impossible, to advance against troops and scale over walls. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. I praise and glorify you O Lord.

Strengthen me in my inner man to do the right thing even when it is difficult, that I choose the higher way and not the road frequently travelled. Strengthen me so that I can remember to encourage myself in the Lord when adverse situations come my way and when what is staring me in the face is the direct opposite of the vision that I have from you. Give me strength to walk away and separate myself from habits that do not take me forward. 2009 has to be the greatest year of my life. A year of achievement and fulfilling the call of God in my life but Lord I need your strength. Even in serving you; Peter said that if we serve we should do it with the strength that you provide. Strengthen me O Lord. Your word says that if I faint in the day of adversity, my strength is small. If I have grown tired running with foot soldiers, what would I do when I face the chariots? Your word has promised that when I wait upon you, you will increase my strength. After waiting, I can run without being tired and walk without growing faint. Strengthen me O Lord in Jesus name.

2008 continues to be a year of UNCOMMON TESTIMONIES and 2009 a year of ACHIEVEMENT and FULFILLING DESTINY. Thank you Jesus.

He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ 1st Corinthians 1:8
