His Side of the story
Sometimes I forget that prayer is a conversation that involves me and Him. I talk for ages and then I walk away, some days He has to interrupt me in the middle of my musings so that He can give His own side of the story. A big lesson in the wilderness for me is that He speaks, oh He speaks, all the time. Sometimes, there is silence but He speaks. I pray He continues to speak for His words are power and they are life
Pray tell my child, when did I cease to be
a REFUGE
a FORTRESS
a WAYMAKER
a COUNSELLOR
a COMFORTER
a MIGHTY GOD
a PROVIDER
a HEALER
a SOURCE OF STRENGTH
a PILLAR
a ROCK
a GOD
a HUSBAND
a FATHER
a LOVER
a FRIEND
and all the other names you read in the Book? Could it be that you have been praising me as A instead of MY? As A mighty God instead of MY mighty God, as A healer instead of MY healer..so

true, we forget. Just like when singing i have to be conscios to sing as thus, my Lord, my sins, my... and not A Lord..e.t.c when I don't engage my mind and heart in worship for instance, its just babble!

A Father, Father, Our Father. Hmm... My Father. But why the silence in the time of your most need. If an earthly father stays silent we call it dissapointment. But with God it can be a blessing. Thank you father for having and looking after me even when I go astray.
