A season of prayer: Day 41

Share
A prayer for days when I try to pray but no words proceed from my lips.

Help me Jesus! Help me Father! Help me Holy Spirit! Remind me of the truth of your word that you are here with me, in this and that you will get me through this. Remind me of your love for me so that I can continue to trust you and your word. Remind me that there is surely an 'After this'.

Amen.

The Spirit then lifted me up and took me away, and I went in bitterness and in the anger of my spirit, with the strong hand of the LORD upon me. I came to the exiles who lived at Tel Abib near the Kebar River. And there, where they were living, I sat among them for seven days-overwhelmed. Ezekiel 3:14-15

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations,I will be exalted in the earth." The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah Psalm 46:10-11

In the midst of the storm
When words from our lips can't be formed
God is there, helping us through
showing us the way, from the dusk to dawn

God is a good God. In Him there is trust and hope... and because we have hope, and faith, through the trusting of His word; THERE WILL BE AN 'After This' phase. For our development and maturity, and for His glory.

Much Love
xx

I was just meditating on John 16:33. My dear, the victory is ours, the blood of Jesus would not be in vain in our lives, for God has not called the house of Jacob to seek him in vain, there for our petitions he shall answer. God has sworn a covenant of kindness and mercy to us... we are his chosen, and he will rise up in might and mercy and set his glory upon us, in Jesus name.Amen,

There are days when you would want to pray but you'll find it difficult either 'cos you don't just know what to say or you're too tired and weak.

But It is not by our Power, nor by our might that we are able to do the things God wants us to do.

In philippians 2:12-3, it is clear that the willingness and drive to serve God, to go before before him in prayer and to lead a Godly life all come from the Lord.

And for trying alone, means that God is at work within you.
God is good and merciful! His grace is forever available and abundant, that there will always be an 'after this' phase...because you are His Child.

You are His property and HE loves YOU!

Nice...
For we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered

There are times when the urge to pray is reduced, there are times when the words to say are far from you, but I believe even at those times.....thats when he is nearest to you

On those days when my brain is too foggy to pray very well, I simply tell HIM, "Thank you Papa God."
