Happy New Year!!

Welcome to 2008 everyone. I just thank God for His faithfulness in 2007 and I am looking forward to and expectant for great things in 2008!! I trust it will be the same for you. I was just spending some time in the quiet place and I was reminded of a statement that I had always confessed. It's something Bishop Eddie Long always has us say when he comes to preach in my church. It goes..

GOD SAID IT
I BELIEVE IT
THAT SETTLES IT

GOD SAID IT
He said that...........
I am blessed and highly favoured
I am healed from every sickness and disease
I am redeemed, justified and forgiven
I am the head and not the tail
I am a new creation in Christ

I BELIEVE IT
because nothing is too hard for Him
because He who promised is faithful
because He watches over His word to perform it
because He is not slow concerning His promise
because His word can never return to Him void
because nothing is impossible with Him
because everything happens at the time God says it will

THAT SETTLES IT
so....
no more shaking...NO SHAKING
I am anxious for nothing but take everything to Him in prayer and thanksgiving
I am still confident that I will see His goodness in the land of the living

2008 has to be a great year. For me, it is a year of new things. A year of forgetting what has happened before and embracing the new things that the Lord has for me.I am standing on Isaiah 43:18-19. I am trusting God for the impossible and am determined to follow Him every step of the way and trust Him and lean not on my own understanding. It is well.
